About Me

Hi, I'm Luca

I'm Luca Liguori, osteopath. I see patients at my practice in Pasiano di Pordenone.

Before becoming an osteopath I spent over ten years in the operating theatre. That's where I learned how much it matters to know the body in depth, and how much the person who lives in that body matters too.

From operating theatre nurse to osteopath

For over ten years I worked as a scrub nurse in the operating theatre. I saw real anatomy up close, not the kind in textbooks: tissues, organs, structures and how they're connected to each other.

That work gave me precision, rigour and attention to patient safety. It also showed me that behind every procedure there's a person, with their own fears and their own story.

Over time I felt the need to take care of people in a different way: with my hands, with more time available, and looking at the body as a whole. That's where the choice of osteopathy came from.

My training

I graduated in Osteopathy in February 2026, at the end of a five-year course of study.

During my training I completed more than 1000 hours of clinical internship, working with real patients under the supervision of experienced osteopaths. It's in those hours that theory became practice, and that I learned to listen to the body with my hands.

My healthcare background also helps me recognise when a problem needs a doctor's opinion first. In those cases I tell you clearly, because your health comes first.

What I do

In treatment I combine different approaches, choosing whichever suits you best each time:

  • Structural osteopathy: working on joints, spine and muscles to restore mobility.
  • Craniosacral osteopathy: gentle, light techniques on the skull, spine and pelvis.
  • Visceral osteopathy: attention to the mobility of organs and their relationship with nearby structures.
  • Fascial osteopathy: working on fascia, the tissue that wraps and connects the whole body.

I also have experience treating pregnant patients and children, from newborns to older kids. In these cases I use gentle techniques suited to that stage of life.

How I work

Every session starts with listening. I ask about your history, your habits and what brought you to me. Then I assess the body as a whole, not just the spot that hurts.

I always explain what I'm doing and why. I believe in treatment that's tailored, respectful and shared, where you're an active part of the process.

Let's talk

If you have questions or want to find out whether osteopathy could be right for you, write or call me. I'll be happy to listen.

Professionista serio e scrupoloso, sono andato per un problema al muscolo piriforme, dopo un check accurato e un massaggio per decontrarlo ha agito su tutto lo scheletro per sbloccare la causa della contrattura che veniva dal blocco dell'anca. Beneficio immediato e sollievo.....Bravo👏 …
